Danke sehr, Bernd. But I am sure that his deceased wife's family name
was Oehmke -- both from other information and from the dissimilarity of
the shape of that initial letter to the other obvious "B"s in the register.
I also have an image of the record of Elisabethe's death, and I am
particularly interested in the cause of death (I cannot even read the
heading of the column, but in the corresponding column on the facing
page I see multiple occurrences of "Grippe"). Would you please decipher
this for me too:
